In July 2008, Coca-Cola relaunched MOTHER energy drink by publically announcing it got the original taste wrong! New MOTHER tastes nothing like the old one & delivers double the energy hit* in a big black can. The can graphics are completely different from the old one which signals the dramatic change from the previous product.

MOTHER’s potent energy drink hit the shelves in July 2008 & is supported with a multi-million dollar marketing campaign including TV, Cinema & online. It kicked off with a newly created TVC that pokes fun at the old bad-tasting formulation. It features a SWAT team hunting down those responsible for the original MOTHER & then showcases the potent energy of New MOTHER.

MOTHER also sponsors a V8 ute team in line with consumers’ passion for sport & car racing. MOTHER grid girls sample the product at V8 events nationwide.
